On holiday recently, The 'Talk witnessed a man of approximately six feet height approach Smooth and say "Ooh, you're tall. I bet you get lots of people saying that. I've had it all my life."
Of course, all this was lost on 6'9" Smooth, who doesn't speak a word of English. This frustrates the ladies.
A wizard with the sticks, Smooth is looked upon with awe by his drumming students, who call him "The Scandinavian Spectre" because of his strange ghost-like hovering techniques.
Smooth has lived in the UK for 27 years now but his English has not improved much past the very basics, ie. Please, thank you, Zildjian, rubbish. .
